SOUTH AFRICA

This wedding took place on a private estate in Franschhoek, just outside Cape Town. From the ceremony to the small hours of the after party, music ran through every moment of the day, and we were lucky enough to shape all of it. Here is how the celebration unfolded...

UNDER THE CHUPPAH

The day opened with scale. For the ceremony we assembled a large orchestra horn players included to perform as guests gathered at the chuppah. At its heart was a guest singer flown in especially from Israel, Ohad Moshkovitz, whose voice set the tone for everything that followed. It was grand, emotional, and exactly the kind of entrance a once in a lifetime day deserves.

18-PIECE SHOWBAND

For the main dinner we scaled up again, this time to a grand show band of around 18 players with a full string section drawn from local South African musicians. We curated the entire programme in advance, then rehearsed on the ground with the South African players to bring it all together.

The centrepiece was a walkway that ran right through the middle of the dinner, putting our singers among the guests and turning what could have been a seated meal into something genuinely immersive. Diners were not watching a stage from a distance. The performance moved through the room and around them.

ELECTRONIC ORCHESTRA

Once dinner wound down, we shifted gears entirely and brought out something we love doing: a full electronic orchestra. We produced the tracks in house, placed a DJ at the centre of it all, and had our live musicians play alongside Ibiza style productions. It is the moment where a wedding tips into a party, and the energy in the room lifted with it.

AFTER-PARTY

The night carried on with an after party led by DJ Gil Fuchs, joined by a well known saxophonist, Yarden, weaving live sax lines over the set. It was the perfect way to keep the floor full long after the formal celebrations had ended.
